Christmas is a time for love, family, and of course, presents, whether the presents are for a friend or just a little present to yourself. This year the beauty market has been taken by storm by some of the best gift sets to have been released in the last few years, bringing better products, better value for money and a better quality of packaging.

£10 and under

fearne

Fashionista Fearne Cotton has released a makeup line with drugstore Boots, where she has designed products and gift sets in order to recreate some of her favourite looks. Perhaps the best value for money is her ‘Kiss and Tell’ set. Retailing at £10.00, the kit includes a lip balm, a pale pink lip crayon, a red lipstick, and a red lip-gloss, meaning the kit has two complete individual looks. Each lip product is of a very high quality, yet works out at £2.50 per item. The packaging – although made of cardboard – is gorgeous, with a cosmic pattern and gold glitter trim, which gives it a more expensive feel. This would make an ideal gift for any lipstick lovers, without breaking the bank.

£25 and under

Even with a budget of £25, you can get your hands on a luxury gift set with a designer look. For £24.50, Dior have their ‘Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara Set’,Dior a combo of their famous ‘Iconic Overcurl’ mascara, and a miniature version of the 5 Couleurs eye shadow palette. This set is designed to give a glamorous and dramatic eye look, despite its compact size, and is inspired by the backstage techniques used at the Dior runway shows. This is perfect for any Dior fans, or for those who have been eyeing up the luxury products for a while now. The packaging, like the general Dior packaging, is very luxurious and sturdy, and definitely feels more expensive than it costs.

£50 and under

There is not a beauty fan alive that does not covet the Benefit box blushers, and for the first time ever, Benefit have released their six most popular blushers in ‘Cheeky Sweet Spot Gift Set’, Benefitalongside a sample of their champagne toned highlighter Watt’s Up! The powders sampled are: Dandelion, Rockateur, Bella Bamba, Hoola, Sugar Bomb and Coralista. You get roughly 3g of each powder in the palette, and at £29.50 this works out as an absolute steal.
