While I’m not big on being emotionally attached to celebrity weddings – I do appreciate displays of Black Excellence every now and then.
On Wednesday 6th July, and right under our British noses, Ciara and Russel Wilson tied the knot officially in Cheshire’s 19th century Peckforton Castle.
With no mobile phones and exclusive access to the castle grounds, 48 luxury rooms and the 4 insanely decorated reception rooms, the newly weds and their circa 100 guests enjoyed the moment with as much privacy as possible.
Most exciting was, of course, bride’s dress and the bomb bridal train.
Ciara’s custom lace bridal dress was designed by Cavalli’s creative director Peter Dundas, while her bridal party had individual black gowns designed by Michael Costello.
Official photographer for the day was the amazing Dennis Leupold – and there’s still only about 3 photos circulating from that day. It’s okay Dennis, I’ll wait.
